A part of “your” Gypsy Soul?

Is foreseeing a part of you that you tap on? I wonder how it has been received if so. I have the gift of foreseeing, but I really hesitate to call it seeing the future, in that it is just so scary!

I will share two events. One is when I was travelling, I wrote a short story which in retrospect has come to light. During those travels, I spent a lot of time searching for various things, but the main one was my faith in humanity. I had lost it entirely and desperately needed to regain it in order to bring myself back from a frightening brink. In putting to paper, I had to conjure up a ‘happy ending’, which was supposed to reflect ‘my’ faith in humanity had returned. I left it at that. It wasn’t ideal, however I DID find my soul and so was willing to use my imagination to fill in the faith in humanity part 🙂

The story for those interested can be found HERE on my other blog – scroll down a bit – It is called Gypsy Restored.  The story detailed out what has happened in world events since I wrote it back in 2010. It is also found in my book 5 PILLARS OF THE GYPSY as it rounds out the poetry and art quite well. Of course this is not a personal type of foreseeing but rather one of a wider scale. Hint: Refugees arriving on the shores of Turkey.

For personal ones, I now normally keep my mouth shut tight! I have found very often that people are very, very curious but if the information doesn’t match their perception or what they want to hear, it becomes a shoot the messenger time. I don’t want to be that messenger. I don’t want to flirt with fate or with destiny. I touch on it slightly in the novel I have almost completed (Chrystal Ball Persuasion)– It just felt like something that needed to be addressed.

In my second case I am prepared to share, myself and a friend were chatting over a cup of coffee when it came to the subject of new relationships. She was ready for one and had someone in mind. I didn’t realise this so ended up blurting out – “no, no, no. It’s not him – It’s someone else. You’ll see very soon. He is from your past.”  It turns out I was correct even though I had no knowledge of either and both were men she knew in high school and had been back in touch with. It wasn’t until just recently that she revealed to me that she was very stunned and a little put off with my assessment. The ending though was brilliant as she has been in a very fulfilling relationship with the ‘someone else’. Just the same, I always think twice before using this gift that I don’t have too much control over. The only control I have is to keep quiet and let things be as they will. And then… my predictions can be my own victories or in some cases losses.
