Magic? Coincidence? Heaven-sent? Who cared at that point. I knew I had aced it, compounded the humor and named my characters VERY appropriately.

The theme of gypsies has been with me for many years. I have researched, embraced and have delved into what makes a ‘gypsy soul’ all in preparation for something I didn’t originally plan on – a novel about a gypsy.
Although I have poked fun at some Omens listed here, I remain fully conscious from here forward of this list and will take note (in all seriousness).
The only sort of air-conditioning this gypsy really needs comes from the sea. It provides oxygen, food, infinite beauty and endless entertainment. My time ‘on the road’, though short, was highlighted by the sea. So much so that my skin improved, my circulation, energy and calm.
Unfortunately, I can’t bring myself to acquire an opal even if it promises to add inspiration to my life. I am just that bit superstition and tempting fate is never a good idea. In fact, now that I have completed this post, I’m going to delete that gorgeous temptress of an opal from my laptop!
It ended up he did have a story. One that touched my very soul and one that has stayed with me to this day, two and a half years later.
